(full Russian name: Marina Yevgenievna Kravtsova).

Education and employment record:

1970-1975 – Department of Chinese Philology, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Leningrad (St. Petersburg) State University

June 1975 Magister of Arts in Philology (Oriental Studies) (“Vostokoved-filolog”)

1990/1991 – a half year period of trial in Nanjing (Nanjing State University).

Since 1975 up to 1.09.2003 – Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Russia, St. Petersburg Brunch (until 1992 – Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of USSR, Leningrad Brunch)

Since 1.09.2003 – professor of the Department of Philosophy and Culture of Orient, Faculty of Philosophy (nowadays Institute of Philosophy), St. Petersburg State University

2004-2007- head of the Department of Philosophy and Culture of Orient

Since 2007 – head of the educational program on the Chinese culture as a separate branch of the Department of Philosophy and Culture of Orient.

On Material of Ancient and Early Medieval poetic Works” (Formorovanie hudoghestvenno-esteticheskogo kanona traditsionnoj kitaiskoj poezii. Chinese history and culture (from Antiquity up to 16-th century); Pre-modern Chinese literature, especially poetry and literary thought; Pre-modern Chinese arts.
